Installation process

  1. Download the 232Key wedge application and install. When going through the installation, accept all defaults.

  1. Connect the serial scale to the local machine.

  2. Open the Control Panel on the local machine and select Devices. In the Device Manager expand Ports (COM & LPT). Check what port is used in the USB Serial Port adapter. Close the Control Panel.

  3. Run the SmartLux 232 Key application.

  1. Select the Input tab.

  1. In the Port drop-down, select the port number that matches the one in the Device Manager.

  2. Set the serial information. This must match the information in the scale and the Device Manager.

    1. Bits/s

    2. Data bits

    3. Stop bits

    4. Parity

  3. All other tab setting are to remain as defaults.

  4. Select the Start/Stop tab and start the application.

  5. Now log in to Business Central, and in the search type Cultivation Scale Setup.

  6. Click the Plus sign at the top of the page, and tun on Scale Integration Active.

 

  1. The scale is ready to use.
