SaaS BC Output Work Order

SaaS BC Output Work Order

In this document, you will learn how to process an Output Work Order. An Output Work Order is used whenever you are producing an output from your cultivation job. The outputs that we typically see being produced might be cuttings (from mother plants or cutting clones from other clones), cultivation waste, or bulk wet flower.

Instructions

The example we will use is for the CUT3 Production Phase and the CUTTING Activity Code. This is the activity in which you are taking some unrooted cuttings from a Motherstock plant and recording the amount of time spent on the activity.

NOTE: This process starts on an existing cultivation job.

  1. Select the Labor line for CUT3 CUTTING.

  2. Select Functions > Create Document.

  3. Select Functions > Show Document. Your work order will show a Consumption FastTab, and an Output FastTab.

  4. The Consumption FastTab shows your time spent on the work order.

    1. This is where you would enter the total time spent doing this activity.

      1. If you have four workers that work for one hour each, you would enter four hours in the Quantity field.

      2. Four workers at 30 minutes can be calculated by typing 4*30/60 = 2 hours.

    2. When entering time in minutes, you can enter the number of minutes then a slash and then sixty in the quantity field and the system will do the math. i.e. 15/60 will show as .25 HOUR.

The Output FastTab is where you will Output your Unrooted Cuttings (for this example. This is also where you would be outputting your harvest of Wet flower and your harvest waste.)

  5. There are many fields on the Output FastTab of your work order. Here are some that are commonly used. (Fields may be selected using the choose columns function by right-clicking your column header on the work order.)

    1. Item No. – This is the item number for the item that's being output by this work order.

    2. Description – This is the Description for the item that's being output by this work order.

    3. Lot No. - For Harvests this will be your Harvest Lot number, for Cuttings this will be the plant batch Lot number

    4. Output Unit Conversion Code – In this example, we are outputting clones that have a unit of measure of EA (Each), so the Output Unit Conversion Code is EA>EA because we are going from a Motherstock with a unit of measure of EA to a clone that has a unit of measure of EA. If we were Harvesting, we would instead be outputting Bulk Wet Flower with a unit of measure of GR (Grams) we would have an Output Unit Conversion Code of EA>GR.

    5. Output Quantity - This is a result of taking the number in the Production Quantity field and multiplying it by the number in the Output Units per Production Unit field.

    6. Reason Code – If you are assigning a reason code to the output item, you would enter it here.

    7. Follow-up Job Type Code – This field is used if you are outputting an item that will be put back into a cultivation job once it is output from the work order. In this case, we are outputting Clones and they will go into a follow-up Job.

    8. Follow-up Job Type No. – This field will show the Job No. that gets assigned to the Follow-up Job created for the output item of this work order.

  6. Enter, confirm or update the quantity being output from the work order in the Output FastTab.

  7. If you are creating a follow-up job, then select the appropriate Follow-Up Job Type Code. Select Follow-up Job in the Output ribbon and select Create. As a result, the Follow-up Job Type No. will automatically populate.

  8. Select Approve and Post on the ribbon to post your work order.

NOTE: You may have different options depending on your permissions in the system. Mark the work order as either ‘Completed’, ‘Approved’, or ‘Approve & Post’, based on your company’s internal procedures related to Cultivation Work Orders.
