Introduction
Production control allows you to manage multiple jobs from a single screen. You can create, view, and assign work orders, release jobs, filter to specific activities and dates, all from one page in the system.
Prerequisites
Set up:
Production Managers
You need to configure Production Managers if you want to be able to assign the work order to a team or a person. Each Production Manager you create also must be a licensed user of 365 Cannabis.
Search for Production Manager List, and select the appropriate option.
Select Edit List from the ribbon to make changes to your production manager’s information.
Add new production managers by selecting +New on the ribbon.
In the User ID field, select a user.
Select Allow assignment to Work Order for users you want to be able to assign tasks.
Select the boxes for any other actions this user is allowed to complete.
Close the page.
Production Control
Search for Production Control and select the appropriate option from the list.
On the Production Control screen, you will be given the option to filter information about your items in production.
The Period area allows you to select if you want to view jobs by:
Day
Week
Month
Quarter
Year
Apply the filters you want and select Get Data on the ribbon.
Scroll down below the Sorting area to view information about jobs and work orders.
NOTE: When you apply new filters, the information in your lines should update automatically. Select Get Data again if it does not.
Production control allows you to create documents, assign work orders and navigate to jobs and W.O.s from a single table.
To perform the following actions, first select the work order line(s) you want to work with. You can use the ellipsis + Select More to select more than one line.
2. Once you have lines selected you can perform the following actions from your header ribbon:
To create and assign a work order, select Assign to on the ribbon. This will open your production managers list.
Select the person you want to assign the job to.
Your work order(s) will now be assigned to the person you selected.
To release jobs, select Release Jobs on the ribbon.
To create a work order, select Create Documents on the ribbon.
To reserve a lot, select Reserve Lot on the ribbon. This will bring you to your fulfill demand page where you can allocate a lot for a given work order.
To navigate to the job card, select Job on the ribbon.
To navigate to the work order, select Work Orders on the ribbon.
To save current production control filters as a ‘filterset’, from the ribbon select your ellipsis (…) > Actions > Setup > Save View as Filterset.
Note: If you are not seeing lines populate with expected results for work orders or jobs, try adjusting your filters and/or period type.
