Description

The Planning Board is a graphic tool that can be used to display multiple events occurring over time. This in itself is a fantastic addition to the standard views, however on top of displaying data from your system, the planning board also delivers the ability to manipulate the data there and then!

Planning Boards can be created from scratch without the need for development. Simply indicate the resource (typically a person or place) and the event that is occurring, perhaps a meeting, delivery, or sales campaign.

Whilst planning boards can be quickly and easily set up using default options, we have also included a wealth of tools that allow you to add your personalization for the views and even the behavior of a planning board when actions are taken by end users.

Once a planning board is defined end users can drag and drop entries around the board to change the timings or resources, clone entries, or add brand-new entries.

All of this is available without leaving your Business Central system, and that also includes the Web Client.
