BC New Customer POS Check-in
New customers or patients will need to be created in the system before they can be checked in to make a purchase. This document will show you how to create a new customer and check them in.

Once on the main POS screen, select the Patient Add/Edit tile.
Next, select New.
On the Select Member Club page, choose a Member Club Code for the new patient/customer. (Ex: Veteran, Senior, Medical etc.) Select OK.
Next, you may, manually, fill in the Member Contact information or you can select Scan Driver’s License and scan the driver’s license with a handheld scanner to pre-populate some of the fields.
This is the screen that appears when you select, Scan Driver’s License. After you scan the driver’s license and it has populated in the box at the top, left corner, select OK.
Once the Driver’s License has been scanned, and the information has been populated on the Member Contact Management screen, select Save.
Next, select OK.
The new patient/customer will, now, appear on your screen. Select Check-in.
You will be prompted to confirm the Check-in process. Select Yes. The new Patient/Customer is now Checked-in and can be picked up by the sales staff for order creation/payment.
