There may be times you need to open a cash drawer without performing an entire transaction. This document will show you how to open the cash drawer.

  1. If the drawer does not open at the close of a transaction or you need to get into it. With a Fresh/New transaction, select Tender Operations.

  2. Select Open Drawer.

 


NOTE:  This function will only work if the cash drawer is connected to the printer/terminal via wires.  Otherwise, the cash drawer key will be required to open/close the drawer.
