Promotional Discounts

In this scenario, the retail location wants to run a promotion on a specific date (7/10 day sale) with a discount on certain items (20% discount on all concentrates and cartridges). They do not want to stack discounts.

Go to the LS Retail discount offers list. Here you can make changes to existing discounts or add new ones.

For this example, we’re going to add the following discounts:

• 20% off Item Category [CARTRIDGE]

• 20% off item Category [CONCENTRATE]

NOTE: If you do not want these to stack with the “Total Discount Offers” (Veteran, Employee, etc), then select Block Total Discount Offer in the Settings FastTab.

This means that all customers will receive the 20% off concentrates and cartridges and not receive additional total discounts. No matter what type of member you are you will receive 20% off the above products

The Total Discount offers will not apply to these products

So for example, an employee makes the following purchase:

• She buys a concentrate – receives 20% off

• She buys a cartridge – receives 20% off

• She buys a flower product – no immediate discount

When Total is pressed, she will get 30% (employee discount) off the flower product only.
