BC Area Planning
The area planning tool in the system allows you to see what space is required for the Jobs we have set in Production now and those we have in our Forecast.
Search for Area Planning, and choose the appropriate option from the menu.
Now we can enter the criteria for our planning:
Location: The greenhouse we are viewing.
Section (optional): the room we are viewing.
Show per: view space by day, week, month, etc.
Show from: What date the graph starts at.
No. of Periods: How many days, weeks, months, etc. do you want to display at once.
Show Forecast: Select this option if you want to include Jobs you have on your forecast in the graph.
Select New > Refresh chart whenever you change the criteria. You may need to scroll down to view this.
Now we can see how much space is going to be used across the periods. We can see the gross/net capacity of the greenhouse and what, if any space we have available based on the schedule.
NOTE: When you select Process, you’ll see options to move forwards and backward in time.
NOTE: The system can tell you what a specific space is being used for (e.g. vegetation, flower) by going to the Color Scheme and selecting Production Phase. Remember to select Refresh Chart.
NOTE: You can also include what Jobs are in your Forecast by toggling the Show Forecast button and selecting Refresh Chart.
