Introduction

Process controls were requested to be developed to prevent users from posting various journals without having interacted with METRC first.

Turn on Process controls

1. A field was added to the Cannabis Setup table called Prevent Posting without Compliance Posting. Tooltip reads 'When enabled, the system will require user confirmation to post journals without having integrated with a compliance system.'

   1. Navigate to the Cannabis Setup page and turn on the option to Prevent Posting without Compliance Posting.

2. A system field has been added to the Item Journal Line to record whether the user has confirmed that they want to bypass the integration when posting.

3. The new cannabis setup field will cause the system to prompt the user to confirm if they want to post item journals (prod jnl, reclass jnl, item jnl, etc.) if they try to post without having sent information to METRC first.

4. Dynamic controls were added to Work Order Output Lines and Work Order Result Lines to prevent false error messages.
