This guide provides step-by-step instructions for using the Sales Order Import Template to import sales orders into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Each field in the template is described below, including whether it is mandatory or optional, along with important notes to ensure a smooth import process.
The column headers need to match the Sales Header / Sales Line field names exactly. The only exception is the Order No. field, which will designate the Sales Header “No.”. This has to be different in order for the system not to confuse the Sales Header “No.” with the Sales Line “No.”. Note that the headers need to match the field name, not the field caption.
